I divorced my ex 11 years ago. I had 3 children with her. 2 of them are now morbidly obese and mildly mentally disabled.  My daughter is 20 and lives at home. She works one day a week. My son is now 17 and is only in 9th grade. My divorce was unpleasant (who's isn't) she alienated me from the children. I have nothing to do with them, no thanks to her. I am now remarried (happily) and have 2 small children. I have now found that I will have to pay support for the rest of my children's lives because they are mentally handicapped. My ex doesn't want to place them in group homes because she wants to suck all my money forever.  She is more concerned with money than anything else. She never nurtured my children or stimulated them mentally.  All my children know is video games and movies. I feel so sorry for them. I have tried to have my son visit me but the ex informed him that she never wanted to hear him talk about it again.  Where are my rights? Am I going to suffer forever? My wife is really upset by this, she feels like we are never going to be financially secure. I am so angry because I feel like I am paying support for strangers.  You know what is sad is that my daughter since she was 9 years old has been taking anti diabetic medication, high blood pressure medication and antidepressants, she was under doctors care to lose weight and NEVER did. My ex is a money hungry beast.  I tried to address these issues with the court and all they said was that she was providing medical care and that was that. I am so frustrated.

it things like this that just burn me up, not just becuase your ex and the state are taking advantage of a good man and citizen, the other is your ex is actually abandoning her children by not giving them the proper guidence and nutrition, where will you children be if she would not be able to care for them anymore or should die, the children may not feel comfortable with you becuase they do not know their father. you know government folks really get helpful when the news media gets interested in a story such as this, ever thought about that?
good luck i have problems also but not like this, anbyway good luck man.mj
