Daddy Blog: The Official Blog of A Child’s Right: Robert and Rob EQUAL parenting bike trek!
Robert and Rob EQUAL parenting bike trek!
It is official! August 11th 2007 Robert Pedersen and Rob Mackenzie will start their over 600 mile bicycle trek from the Lansing Capitol to Washington, D.C.. This will be an intense multi-day bike trek through numerous states ending in Washington, D.C. where they will be greeted by over 10,000 people that will be attending the national rally in Washington, D.C. on August the 18th.

It is simply amazing that two fathers are going to attempt this trip all in the name and support of shared parenting! They do this to protect a child’s right to EQUAL time with BOTH fit parents! Many elected officials and supporters will see the riders off at the Lansing Capitol and over 10,000 will greet them in Washington, D.C. www.dcrally2007.org

We are in need of volunteers for this amazing undertaking! We have 100% confirmation that the Michigan media will be documenting this event. There is a strong possibility that this may also make national news as well! We have a dedicated media van with supplies. There will be a dedicated website for this event where you can watch the riders via GPS and there will also be video and photos uploaded during the trip as it occurs.

Please help us with this event! Spread the word in EVERY state and throughout the media! Help protect a child’s right to EQUAL time with BOTH fit parents! Contact us: volunteer@achildsright.net or visit our volunteer center at http://www.achildsright.net/html/volunteer.html

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

WOW! What a great effort. THESE guys are what I would define as heroes. They are making a sacrafice for fathers everywhere, not blemishing thier cause or perpetuating stereotypes. Not whining about paying support for thier children or encouraging illegal and ill advised tactics. Just bringing our children into the light. Showing that non custodial parents have a value beyond $ and children have a right to BOTH parents! THIS is what our movement should be doing! Way to go guys!

I think that Ronald Smith definitely says alot about why the things are happening to our children.

I think there will be alot of events leading up to the Bike Trek for Equal Parenting and the subsequent Washing D.C. Rally on the Mall for Equal Parenting.

    Great work on this Robert!!!

Instead of whining about child support, let’s focus on an actual issue!
    From the website-http://www.parental-alienation-awareness.com/

“Bereavement Without End-A Plea From Alienated Parents Everywhere
The death of a child is indisputably one of the most incredibly horrible tragedies one can imagine. Whether by sudden accidental circumstance, or by a more lengthy cause as in illness, the loss of a child is undeniably painful to experience.Painful to the parents, parents to the family, and painful to anyone related to the child.

Never knowing the laughter of that child again or the tears, the joys and the accomplishements is a pain no parent should ever have to endure, and yet it happens. No one is to blame. It just happens. Imagine the same pain and the same sense of loss, with one exception-the parent is very much aware that the child is alive.

The effects of Parental Alienation Syndrome are very similar to the loss of a child due to accident or illness. For the parent who has been alienated from their child, the bereavement does not end. How do we know? Each alienated parent separately, and all of us collectively have lived with both the cause and the effect of Parental Alienation for countless years. Like a terminally fatal childhood disease, Parental Alienation rips the innocent child from your arms slowly. You witness the suffering. You witness the effects. You can feel the impending doom is inevitable, but you are powerless to do anything about it. You try remedy after remedy hoping that one will finally rid your child of the “disease”. You work like a person possessed in order to finance the efforts, and when the final blow comes, it is emotionally devastating. You question yourself. You blame yourself for the loss. You tell yourself you should have done more. The very sad part of the story, is it is not unique. There are hundreds of thousands of children and parents affected by PAS.

We beg of those with the power to make people aware of this devastatingly horrible phenomena, to please do all they can to educate people on its effects, and to change the laws to protect the innocence of the children involved. Only then can we truly hope to keep children safe from the harmful side effects that are inherent with Parental Alienation itself. It’s killing the spirit of family everywhere. “

Parental alienation, false accusations of abuse, violence, neglect etc. Unjustifiable restraining orders based on false allegations of all sorts.

Paternity fraud, paternity by deception, false promises of marriage, fraudulent acts of all kinds with the intention of railroading the “alleged father” for the purpose of extorting the prized “child support”.

Countless fathers denied an equal role in their child’s life for the purpose of extorting the prized “child support”; giving rise to a huge army of parasites who extract a living from millions of fathers and their children, at the cost of countless destroyed or severely damaged lives, and possibly irreparable damage to our nation and our future.

All of this death, pain and suffering because there are greedy cowards who want to keep paying the coveted “child support” simply because they are afraid to miss even one paycheck.

Shame on you cowards who are afraid to speak publicly using your real names; you don’t deserve to call yourselves Americans. You want an easy way out and there isn’t one. The cost will be selfless financial sacrifice, as well as possibly many other forms of sacrifice, and an unyielding dedication to persevere.

    Kevin Merck

“The person who has nothing for which is he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.”

    John Stuart Mill

Well I knew someone would start whining about child support and attacking others who dont. Im sure that because Kevin Merck doesnt support his children, it helps us all! Give me a break.
