In my opinion, this mentality is the most dangerous that we have to deal with. The contention, that if the extortion is 50% or less of someone’s gross income, this can somehow justify the extortion.
If mothers were being denied custody, and marginalized to the role of “visitor†to their children, and were having 50% of their income extorted under the threat of “criminalization†and “incarcerationâ€, would anyone stand for it? Would the argument be about the amount extorted, or would it be about the entire practice of denying them custody? Any “reasonable person†knows the answer to that question.
It’s every parent’s “God Given Right†to be an equal participant in their children’s lives, not a “privilege†granted or denied, by our corrupt family courts.
Do the right thing; stop giving these criminals your money. Millions of future Americans, including our children, will be glad we did.
