Home Violence … Men in Firing Line
By KEN MURRAY
A STUDY of patients attending family doctors has found that 52 per cent of men and 43 per cent of women have experienced domestic violence.
The research, carried out by Trinity College Dublin and published in the European Journal of General Practice, reflects the findings of all other two-sex studies carried out in Ireland.
Mary Cleary who runs the AMEN Centre for abused males in Navan, Co Meath, said: “Despite the attempts of certain individuals and organisations to discredit AMEN, these findings again vindicate the position we have held on this issue for the past 10 years.”
She said: “Dr Susan Smith, one of the study’s authors, quite rightly commented that it was inappropriate to continue to address this issue as solely a woman’s problem’.
“The figures from the Trinity College study totally discredit feminist theory that women are predominantly the victims and men the perpetrators.”
According to Mary, the way domestic violence against men is treated by the State is proof that the Government is out of touch with reality.
She said: “In excess of EUR15m-a-year is provided by the Government for services for female victims - while less than 1 per cent of this amount is provided for male victims.
“The Department of Justice has set up a comprehensive structure, comprising of a national steering committee and eight regional committees on violence against women, as well as providing other supports for female victims.
“But it provides no supports for male victims.”

What is really sad is that this study only reaffrims what the vast majority of studies over the last 25-30 years have.Nothing new here except the fact it will get no real media scrutiny or coverage/debate.

We need to encourage all leaders to hear callings for integrity and honor of service within, and at every level of, our present society.
The virtues of free speech and open public debate need not be railroaded by “PC academia” (see “Britain’s new Treason of the Clerks”, The American Thinker, April 26th, 2005, at http://www.americanthinker.com/articles_print.php?article_id=4444 . See also JOHN TIERNEY, “Academy of P.C. Sciences,” Op-Ed, New York Times, September 26, 2006 ( . . are discouraged from going into science because of social pressure and “unintentional†and “unconscious†biases — which may well exist. But [so and so’s] committee is so determined to blame everything on discrimination that it dismisses other factors.)
May we eventually discern a “duping of America?” Or, more hopefully, may it be discerned merely as an “attempted duping of America?”
This is a wake-up to all that perhaps certain (heaven forbid, shameful) Ideologies are greatly influencing “control of ‘hot’ issue(s)” — from which to plunder and perhaps impart of more damaging long-term effects.”
It does remain a collective joint venture.
The enticement to finger-pointing may be easily triggered, released and/or facilitated. (isn’t this in fact what state level support arms do via enticement of vindictive ex’s?)
Accordingly, there may be great need to temper such inherent vulnerabilities. Let’s leave these of mere infancy memory of childhood experiences.
I believe we can and must endeavor the embrace and maturation toward responsible, compassionate and caring-giving tasks relative to all of God’s/Almighty’s children and creatures.
For sure, we may encounter factions of contentious concerns; but these may be helplessly wrapped within delusion of fear, greed, anxiety, grandeur, power . . . or perhaps even various forms of peer-pressure.
Certainly, we may hope for an emergence of more honorable respect to our founding, heritage and (even for some) oaths of office and obligation.
As for the seemingly obvious, I do recall activities of childhood centered on “weird” or perhaps “nerd” - “PC labeled” type activities. Consider for example, activities such as blasting tuna cans high into the air with “explosives” (e.g., fire-crackers), hammering primers after careful extraction from shot-gun shells, mixing chemicals with (probably modern day forbidden) elements of an older sibling’s chemistry set, making gun powder from sulfur, potassium-chloride and carbon . . . launching model rockets into the air with a neighbor and his father from across the street, building airplanes, learning how to tie flies with a friend and his father, fly fishing with my father and grandfather, learning how to snap a football with a friend and his father, learning wrestling moves (e.g., the “switch”) from my own father . . . I can even recall several friends of youth handling snakes, worms, “gross - stuff” . . . but I also recall myself baiting hooks with a worm in unending hope of harvesting a beautiful rainbow trout. I also recall cleaning and examining the internal organs of a chucker of my older brother’s successful chucker hunt.
In deed and in contrast, both the mother of my children and even their step-mother each may openly acknowledge repulsion to such activities, handlings and/or cleaning and/or harvest of game.
I can’t exactly put my finger on such “reality” of differences . . . but it just is. It is up to us collectively to either welcome such blessings of individuality. Or, we can PC process, analyze, blame or perhaps even finger-point to others in effort of divisive means.
We may all recognize certain “odd” departures from “norms.” But might not such facets merely lend the coloring wonder and beauty to our society, community . . . of perhaps more effective capability?
PC’s may even recognize such; but they need not drive the “just is types” into the “ground.” Nor should such “self-rewarded” take or invigorate open license to denigration of others of perhaps still valuable and needy “norm” type and/or traditional character. . . or . . .
Some of individual observation have perceived more contention within climate of just about any given sorority over most any fraternity. I’m not sure why, but it just is.
Yes, we me all be vulnerable members with limitations of the creation of an Almighty. But we need to overcome such limitations and continually endeavor for more honorable self-respect via recognition of integrity with all as part of our own obligations thereto.
I believe these to be common principals of virtues of common sense understandings.
Why infuriate caustic tendencies with invigoration(s) of $$$’s?
Beats me . . . wait, did I hear hint of a PC term/tool? Dead . . .
Over time, with any two people, conflict will exist. This is human nature, sometimes the conflict, unfortunately, may transpire to unfortunate levels of concern. Hell, look at the present day “ideology arguments.”
But we do and already have means for addressing these concerns. Fueling the already disturbing “common-sense” understandings of human strife with $$$’s for the encouragement of Amplification of but one facet of Human strife seems utterly foolish.
While I may take some comfort in the fact that perhaps such conception(s) of these divisive forces may have occurred before my day — i.e., while I was in grade school or before and innocently reciting the pledge of allegiance for trusting in God and Country; I presently feel of an obligation to honor certain responsibilities of citizenship owing for benefit of others of school age today and perhaps just as entrusting (blindly) in “their†civil governance of today.
“Our†hands may guide the wheel and rudder for civil discourse and affairs.
Let us rise to the occasion with commitments for honorable contributions collectively.
May we also feel ok in expecting accountability of or from those NOW entrusted in sharing the present day governing responsibilities.

Help us to carefully reveal and gently handle an “emerging white elephant†in “our family.â€
For sure, there may be risk of emotionally charged finger-pointers of defensive posture relative to an apparent lack of diligence in the “collective†guardianship at the backdoor of our Great Nation.
Regardless, let us not allow a continued acquiescence to the kidnapping of Ms. Liberty, nor permit an expunge-ment of her virtues.

Please note the following conditional for the following – i.e., some of the names have been changed to protect the “innocent.”
I - False Advertising &/Or Unlawful Trade Regulations:
Certain laws address matters of false advertising and/or practices. By such, a company (service or otherwise) is not to hold itself out for certain offerings merely to respond, in effect, contrary to such offerings. Regulations directed to certain unlawful Practices generally are to lend prophylactic means for combating “switch and bait” “traps.” In theory, certain Entrusted Public Operators (EPOs) have obligations to protect the Public from such traps of potential public harm — especially if already discerned and perhaps also if merely suspected.
II - Particular Organization’s website:
Q: Which rights are defended by the [Peoples Liberty Organization]?
A: The [PLO] defends the rights of people to speak freely, to practice the religion of their choice and to be treated equally before the law. In addition, the [PLO] defends other fundamental rights of freedom outlined in the Bill of Rights of the [peoples’] Constitution: the right to be free from unlawful searches and seizures in our homes and offices; the right to a fair trial and to legal representation; and, the right to be free from cruel and unusual punishment.
Q: How does the [PLO] work?
A: The [Peoples Liberty Organization] works primarily in three ways: through the courts, in the legislatures and through public education. A dedicated team of lawyers, lobbyists and communications and organizing specialists is always on call, making the [PLO] a one-stop “do it all” civil liberties organization.
Q: How does the [PLO] decide which causes to defend?
A: Because the [PLO] has a limited budget and staff, it is impossible to represent every person whose civil liberties have been violated. Instead, the organization tries to select cases which will impact the greatest number of people - those cases which have the potential to break new ground or establish new precedents to strengthen the freedoms all of us enjoy. The [PLO] has represented African-Americans and Latinos who were denied their right to vote; it has represented the elderly and children denied their constitutional rights; it has represented workers denied their right to organize into unions; it has represented journalists who refused to reveal their confidential sources; and, it has represented teachers and others illegally fired from their jobs because they were gay or lesbian.
III - Well nnown Liberty Orchestrated Violations (LOVs):
Henry notes that the overall rate of default judgments in California is 71% of all paternity cases and in Los Angeles County the rate is an appalling 80%. No state is known to have less than a 30% default paternity judgment rate.
Once a paternity order is entered, paternity fraud victims are mercilessly subjected to wage garnishment; asset seizure; professional and drivers license denial; passport denial; tax refund interception; public humiliation through “most wanted” posters; arrest, criminal fines, imprisonment, and other destructive penalties, including torture, virtually without recourse. Suicide is all too common among such victims. See Dr. Charles Cory, “Condoning slavery under color of law”, Equal Justice Foundation - Colorado, via http://www.ejfi.org/ (Fall of 2006).
IV - Victims of LOV Turned Away:
More than one anguished LOV victim has often been embraced with seemingly characteristic retaliation by PLOs. I and others have first hand knowledge, more than too easily capable of corroboration, of multiple LOV victims finding empty promises of PLOs.
In fact, some of wrongs committed of Entrusted Public Officials (EPOs) may often be suppressed via even a greater embrace of LOV.

Perhaps merely Our State Hearts On the Federal Dole? Any questions?
While we may find ourselves upon a Slippery Slope, messengers need not be purged or expunged for mere political convenience.
P.S., Some PLOs often may be found acting in cooperation or collectively with “Sugar and Spice” faction. See for example
AMICUS BRIEF OF THE [PLO] OF WASHINGTON, THE [PLO’s] [Gender Specific] RIGHTS PROJECT, THE NORTHWEST [Gender specific] LAW CENTER, CHAYA, THE [Foreigner’s] FORUM, THE WASHINGTON STATE COALITION [For Family] VIOLENCE, NARAL PRO-[Authority over Life] WASHINGTON, THE NATIONAL COALITION [for Family Interference], WASHINGTON NOW, THE WASHINGTON COALITION OF SEXUAL [self-service] PROGRAMS, [Sustain the incentives for] FAMILY VIOLENCE AND THE FAMILY [Harm Invigoration] FUND {Note, names have been changed to protect innocent.} of Dkt No. 236137, of COURT OF APPEALS OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, DIVISION III.
