WOWT | Murder-Suicide
Couple had stormy relationship
Authorities say the Thursday night gunfire that took two lives in Omaha was a murder-suicide. They say 46-year-old Eric Bandur shot his ex-wife Laura and then turned the gun on himself.
The shootings happened around 8:30 at 336 Beverly Drive. That’s just south of 78th and Dodge. Police say that Eric Bandur drove up from Phoenix, shot 36-year-old Laura Bandur and then killed himself.
Court documents indicate that Laura Bandur had a protection order against her ex-husband. The court papers provide a glimpse of a volatile and oftentimes abusive relationship, especially over the past year or so.
The relationship exploded Thursday night as paramedics tried in vain to keep Laura and Eric alive.
Investigators found a paper trail in this case that led directly to Eric Bandur.
Laura got the protection order in February of 2005. In it, she wrote that while in Phoenix she told Eric she was leaving, he pulled a loaded gun on her and told her he was going to kill her. Laura escaped only after he passed out. The incident ended when the Phoenix SWAT team talked Eric into surrendering.
In January of last year, after Eric asked to visit his daughter in Omaha, Laura wrote that she, “feared Eric will be following her and putting her safety in harms way.”
In the course of the couple’s divorce, the court found that Eric hit Laura, belittled her before the children and destroyed property. The judge ordered Eric to sell the couple’s home in Phoenix and spilt the money with Laura. Just four days ago, the Maricopa County Court began taking child support payments out of Eric Bandur’s checks.
On Thursday night, witnesses reported seeing a man walking away from the home right after the shooting. Channel 6 News has learned that was Eric Bandur’s brother. We found him Friday but he refused to comment.

When the domestic relations industry admits that incidents like this are more it’s responsibility than the poor souls that do this because they feel there is no other way to stop the humiliation, the feeling of powerlessness, and the grief from the loss of their children, then, this will stop.

Beau:
I hear you bro. Nobody wants to see violence, but there isn’t much you can do about the inevitable consequences of a system of government that does not afford “all its citizens†the equal protection of its laws.
“Any nation†that does not offer “all its citizens†the equal protection of its laws loses its “authority to governâ€, and any action taken by the oppressed minority to alleviate their plight is perfectly justified. Slaves have a perfect right to take “any action necessary†to win their freedom.
Men are not being represented fairly by our legislators and our “out of control†family courts. We are being deprived of our right to equal protection under the law, equal access to our children, and forced into servitude under the threat of incarceration.
“Honor, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity has a right to receive from us. We cannot endure the infamy and guilt of resigning succeeding generations to that wretchedness which inevitably awaits them if we basely entail hereditary bondage on them.”
Thomas Jefferson,
By any means “necessaryâ€.

I don’t know who “Beau” is but if your talking to me my friend, I don’t consider myself a monority or a slave. There are millions of fathers along with me that this is happening to (hardly a minority) and you can only be a slave if your one inside your mind, not because your physical body is forced to comply with a corrupt system or government.
And quoting historical figures is fine because I believe there was a lot of wisdom in the words of these men, but they are dead and gone. And obviously, not a whole lot of the people that run this government give a damn about what these men had to say. Because, if they did, we wouldn’t be in the position were in, not only with the domestic relations system, but in almost all aspects of this society.
No, I’m in the here and now and I’m fighting to defeat the injustices of my day. Thomas Jefferson saw the injustices of his day and didn’t quote sayings from some guy 200 years before him to deal with them, but took action to stop them. Just as I will do till I die naturally, or they kill me, whichever comes first.

Hello John Alarez,
I think the blog with Beau on it was TO Beau, not FROM him. Wyatt, who is also Beau, quoted John Kennedy, who I would consider a contemporary.
Sorry for the confusion, I am Beau Wyatt and log on as Wyatt. I don’t know how Kevin knew my first name, but it’s all good. And John, I agree with you, Liberty or death, which ever comes first. (sorry, but that was written 200 years ago). Keep the faith My Brother.
FAITH: the assured expectation of things not yet beheld.

Kevin,
I feel that same rage. This is a horrible nightmare. My ability to support myself has been taken away because of the robbery/garnishment of my wages. Access to my beautiful children has been denied by the evil whore who is a pitiful excuse of a mother. And all of this activity is being sanctioned and enforced by the government. It sickens me. I am ashamed of this country and any country with such practices. I’ve spent time in jail because I tried to just be a meaningful part of my kids life. The only hope for us as men/ncp’s is Divine Intervention. That is where I have placed my hope for justice.
Your posts KICK ASS. Keep ‘em coming!

Beau:
This is how I knew your name. Sorry about your “nightmareâ€. If you want my advice, don’t be ashamed of your country; be ashamed of your “brothers†who continue to pay the extortion. If you pay it, then you have yourself to blame as well.
I’ll keep the posts coming, regardless of the gutless punks who make disparaging remarks.

Wyatt, I thought he might be talking to me cause I didn’t see Beau listed as your username, and we’ve had some exchanges in the past. But, as you can see, this kevin guy equates disagreement with his views and observation of his methods as disparagement; the earmark of a parochial intellect.
Ya, and kev, there’s nothing wrong with quoting past maxims if it makes you feel better, but I just don’t see that it accomplishes a whole hell of a lot. Probably because the monstrocity known as the domestic relations system that men deal with today not only did not exist in the days of Thomas Jefferson, but did not even exist in their imaginations. They were dealing with a completely different animal.
It seems like your trying to “piggyback” other agendas you may have on the father’s rights issue. I think that this not only attenuates and diminishes the father’s rights message, but it makes the average person on the street perceive the overall message as being that of total revolution against a way of life that they are most likely very content with. This is no way to garner support.
I’ve dealt with the IRS, The Social Security Administration, The Department of Veterans Affairs, The US Forresry Service, all of these government agencies and more. And, even though though I probably wouldn’t be their best reference, and they could stand improvement, I didn’t get driven halfways to hell with them as I have been with this corrupt domestic relations system. I’m not looking to overthrow the entire government or start a revolution against it. What I am looking to do is abolish a corrupt segment of that government that does not recognize the rights and words of fathers and men.
You start with the “stop paying the extortion” again. You know, I’m not saying that there might not come a day when I make the decision to stop paying child support. And, if I do make that decision, it will have included consideration of all involved, not just because it was beneficial to me alone. But, at least I’m man enough to admit that I am paying support now. I’ve posed many questions concerning your child support situation to you, and to this day, you’ve never stood up like a man and given a straight answer.
I met with the Governor of my state last week, and I’m meeting with the director of my state’s Childrens welfare agency this week. And, I didn’t tell the Governor a great quote that someone else spoke to help them in their situation, but I told him “my quotes” and I won’t tell the director thoughts of someone else that applied in their issue, but I will tell her “my thoughts.” It might not accomplish a damn thing, and they might just be pullin my chain to get me to shut up. But, even if it doesn’t accomplish anything, I’m not gonna shut up, and I’m gonna be a thorn in their side until I’m heard.
The only gutless punk I see kev, is the one who gives advice all day long about what the other guy should start or stop doing. And, who repeats historical quotes because he thinks it will equate him to the great men who spoke them simply by by their utterance, but does or says nothing great himself to help the situation.
Wyatt, I stand in solidarity with you and any man who knows what and who the true issue and enemy is, and keep fighting the fight. I know I will.

I met with the director of the child welfare agency of my state this past Friday, and the false accusation against me was completely overturned. Of course that was after protesting in front of the capitol building and the courthouse, and getting on government access TV to malign the hell out of em. See what can happen when you actually do something to fight them instead of only talking about it as some of us are so adept at. If they were looking for someone who was gonna lie down and take it, they sure as hell didn’t find him in me, and they never will.

Laura sneaked out of the house after Eric passed out to spend the night with her boyfriend David Desko. Eric awoke in the morning with the two kids to find his wife gone. He and the children drove from hotel to hotel looking for Laura not knowing there was a boyfriend. Not finding her they returned to the house to call all of her relatives to see if she was with them in Omaha. No luck. But while he was on the phone in his house a SWAT team was assembling outside. The restraining order was based on this incedent and should have resulted in her being arrested for filing a false report. Nobody was in danger except for Eric. She was hoping for a police shooting to end her marrage

“She was hoping for a police shooting to end her marrage.”
I’ve been through that one. My son’s mother sent a SWAT team with machineguns, riot shotguns, body armor, a battering ram and stun grenades to my home over a misdemeanor paperwork violation. She alleged multiple felonies, including that I was going to kill them at the door with belt-fed weapons I’ve never owned, etc. etc. She filed a lawsuit for full custody literally a week later. I’d been trying to get my name on my son’s birth certificate for over three years. That snakey arrest-then-sue assault was the first time she had legally even acknowledged me as my son’s father. She let me spend $50,000 or much more on her and him over the three years leading up to her attempted assassination, but she would not share parental rights and authority. Like many very mentally unbalanced women in America these days, she believes our child is not ours but hers. “Disagree? Here… I’ll try to kill you with police machineguns and tarnish your reputation so badly it’ll take months to prove that you’re the good guy.”
Her phony police assault cost me $15,000 in legal fees and untold grief that could fill a book (a.k.a. living Hell). But the local sheriff’s department is now on full alert that she is a lying filer of false police reports whose veracity should always be tested harshly. And she’s going to be exposed in family court very soon, with tons of evidence and documentation to show her for exactly what and who she is.

tttbbb, you’re an idiot. “Nobody was in danger except for Eric” , Eric shot and killed Laura on her front porch with their kids just a few feet away. I would say that she did have something to be worried about.
