Noncustodial parent, not all of whom are fathers, are being treated as badly as black folks were treated before the advent of the civil rights movement.
Now that took a battle and lot of people fighting for fair treatment ended up dead. And I don't doubt that the battle for rights for noncustodial parents( ie fathers) will get just as violent.
The people who instituted this little "apartied" stand to lose a lot if reforms take place. Many of them simply won't have a career anymore and if there is any justice, most of them deserve to stand trial for what they did and when convicted suffer some very harsh penalties. Up to and including the death penalty. Basically they have committed treason and crimes against humanity.
It is going to be a battle even after the first civil rights laws for fathers have been passed. It is going to take years of enforcing these " new rights". I forsee federal officials having to put alot state government officials in jail. We will have to prosecute and lock up probably hundreds if not thousand of public servants, simply because they still believe they can get away with the same old abuse and discrimination. We will have to use the witholding of federal money, this time to make the m abide by and obey the laws requiring them to respect our rights.
The attitudes of women will have to change too. We will have to make it clear that their previous behavior is no longer acceptable. That they will held to the same standard of conduct men have always been held to.

Mr. Baskerville really needs to have a discussion group with Duval County Court Judges. Father is representing himself and can not set a trail date because he is not a "lawyer". Child's mother has money to hire lawyer but not pay for travel expenses of visitation as she signed her name on the dotted line to do or pay her portion on insurance or give minimum visitation. HELP!!!
