Fathers’ Rights Book May Be Banned by Mass Court

On Wed., March 22, there will be a hearing in Essex County Court in Mass. which could result in the banning of a book by a Fathers Rights Activist, Kevin Thompson.

Kevin Thompson’s book is available here: http://www.lulu.com/content/198514

Kevin Thompson has been fighting a long and lonely battle in the Essex Probate and Family Court to try to be able to be a father to his son. Several months ago, the court impounded the records of the trial and Judge DeGangi has recently granted a restraining order forbidding Kevin from distributing his book, Exposing the Corruption in the Massachusetts Family Courts, which apparently is still available at www.lulu.com.

Kevin was to have a hearing on the book ban several weeks ago, but Judge DiGangi apparently recognized that there would be a conflict of interest were he to rule on the issue, since Kevin comments extensively on DiGangi’s behavior in his book. As a result the hearing was rescheduled for this Wednesday, so be there if you can! It’s at 2 Appleton Street in Lawrence.

The testimony and affidavit that Kevin will be giving at the hearing are available on our web site at www.fathersandfamilies.org and then clicking on “View File” next to the news item regarding Kevin on the left side of the page.

There may well be some substantial First Amendment issues here, and Kevin certainly raises some serious concerns about what happens to fathers in Probate and Family Court.

I’m glad that the People’s Republic of Taxachussets is living up to it’s reputation as a workers paradise. “Commrades, as long as you think like us and do what we tell you, you shall have peace.” Stalin would be proud.

Does anybody of the links or contacts for determining if this book is actually going to be Banned? And or the docket for showing such consideration?

When will we again arise to the stature of those that give their lives for the freedom of this country ? The feminazi influenced judiciary is the greatest threat to mankind – far worse than previous world wars . Time for a revolution as enough is enough – kids need dads !!!

Wishing you the best of luck going forward Kevin. The system has not given you any. Your writing was composed in a very nice manner. As bitter as you should be – you did not lump all females into the same catagory as Patrick’s mother. Thanks for that!!!

True justice does not have a gender – maybe someday the judicial system will realize that.

Well put Tamie – and quite refreshing!

This might just break things wide open so even the biased media won’t be able to ignore it. We are talking about first amendment rights to free speech here, aren’t we? Or, maybe the media doesn’t think that’s important.

At one time I had started a similar book about the outright and obvious corruption, lies and deceit in the Colorado “Family” courts. This included magistrates and judges whose only purpose was to repeatedly demand more money from the NCP while outright refusing to uphold their own “visitation” orders. I never did finish the book because it brought back too many bad memories of a system that destroys fathers and any relationship they used to have with their children. It also appeared that the only ones that might be interested in reading it would be those that had experienced the “system” first-hand. Other than those, it appears that no one else cares in this country.

OK Kevin keep on Fighting. Any man that has gone through divorce court knows how dysfunctional and corrupt it is. The problem is that men are not organized like women are. We men need to organize and bitch to the legislatures to modify and change the laws. We need to call talk shows hosts and tell them about the injustices that goes on. We need to write letters to the press and ask them to report the abuses. Men we need to vote out of office these feminist judges. We don’t have to take it any more. We are fighters. We need a leader to organize us in every state and demand laws be changed for equal shared parenting, equal financial support, elimination of all alimony.
Lets unite and stand as one pwerful army of displaced fathers. We need to fight for our kids, our dignity, our financial freedom and our manhood as fathers. Let a leader rise up from the ranks and organize us into a powerhouse and political force.

I’m a father who is fighting the system (not in MA) and thankfully am being treated equally (ironically – by a female judge who has children). Against ALL odds (and my case started prior to my daughter’s birth), I am currently enjoying an equal role in my daughter’s life. It’s just sad that I am the exception… and that I feel “lucky” to have this chance.

Buy the book. Or buy the electronic version and distribute it liberally. MAKE SOME NOISE! If nothing else, it would be a few bucks going to a man who’s standing up (and undoubtedly needs cash to fund his fight.)

Does anyone know how to contact Mr. Thompson by email? (I’m hoping my book, when it arrives, will have that information.) I’m in advertising… and I’d like to see if there’s anything I can do to get some attention for the injustice faced by ALL good fathers like Kevin Thompson.

The only way fathers will get a fair shake is in the court of public opinion – not in family courts. And the only way to do that is by presenting our case – incessantly and vociferously.

Thank you Mr. Thompson… for doing what we all should be doing!

So the Redfems, and their lackeys, are hiding behind children again. Corrupt judge on his Redfem throne, his pants are down, and his cover’s blown. Perhaps these marxists are now ready to expose their true agenda. Can we expect a roundup of copies in circulation to be burned in the town square. Will they also confiscate our computers. More likly they’re hoping to sweep this under the carpet.

Children have always been their hiding place since day 1. Prohibition was to save our children, Dredd Scott (the runaway slave act) was to save our children, hell even Hitler used “save our children” in his campaign against the Jews. The law that it’s a felony to leave a state to avoid paying “child support”, isn’t that the runaway slave act with a new spin? The question is….when is everyone else going to recognize this age old rule of thumb for the tyrrany it really is? If they do have a public book burning I will be there with a fire extiguisher!

I read this book mostly because it very close to home. I went through most all of the same challenges and stumbling blocks which made no sense to me as a parent. Two of the three judges we went infront of as well , I had counsel is the only differance.

The myriad of rules of law at a trial even though I knew in my heart what was right and knew how to express it I doubted I could do it effectively and in keeping with the rules of a trial.

What far too often happens is the children are left as no lower of a priority of the division of assets in a divorce it could take years with all the possibly delays. There is no guaranteed time spent with a NCP at all not even a baseline. In so far as support arrangements are important also shared time with each parent is essential as they are the victim or looser until its resolved.

There are obvious exceptions to this but there should be no pre disposed notion nor prejudice to start with as there is now.
